2004 Acura TSX knuckle.
Hey guys, I have spun my wheels on this issue. So it all started when I had a shop redo my wheels bearings on my front side of my Acura TSX. The left side came out fine but the right knuckle the first time they gave it back to me when I put it all together the caliper bracket when i torqued it down to specs. It sat right on the rotor.
(This picture is with the first bearing and hub) so I took it off because of course that not right. The only thing I could think of was of course the bearing because before I had them replace it it was fine with the rotor and caliper. So I ended up taking it back to them and they put a brand new bearing and hub. And they gave it back to me and it’s not on the rotor itself but it is still close I’d say less than a 1/8 clearance on the bracket not much difference. The left side knuckle with rotor and caliper bracket has much more of a clearance than this right side. They said they tried to push it as far as the hub could but it’s still wrong. So my question is could they of messed up the knuckle? Cause that’s two bearings that’s been the same thing. Any input would help I’ve even thought about getting a new knuckle with the bearing and hub but that’s about $500 dollars.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thank you guys.
