2000+ TSXs/04 RSXs held up in Port
It was brought to my attention yesterday that 2000+ vehicles have been held up at port in California. They are mostly TSXs and 04RSXs. Quality control issues are the reason for the holdup. It may or may not have to do with the rattles. I will check in to it. Do expect delays in shipments of the TSXs at least for the time being.

Hmm...Justin..if there is some "flaw" which is causing these rattles...what would that mean for all of us who already have our cars?

Tim at Hondacuraworld would know of a TSX TSB (Tech. Service Bulletin) and as of 2 wks ago, he stated there were none. Let's find a good source of all the information before we jump to conclusions.

The TSB would mention the underlying problem(s) which cause the rattling, and list "rattling" as a symptom.
The dealer. Customers are contacted directly for recalls, not TSBs.

Hi to all:
I just put a deposit down on a SSM/ ebony automatic last night. Not in stock, of course, but the dealer did tell me it was in the country...on the West Coast!
Does anyone know where I can use my VIN to locate the vehicle?
I was told that delivery is scheduled for the 27th of this month, this was at about 8:15pm last night, so I hope this is not the case. That would really suck.
Thanks!

I mean, it's not like they're going to fix this phantom "problem" right there at the port. Either the boat would turn around and head back to Japan (NO FRIGGIN' WAY!!!) or they would forward the units to the dealers and address the problem there (much more likely). I find it hard to believe that 2000+ units held up at port in CA has anything to do with resolving a quality issue.
Then again, I could be 100% wrong. If so, then let me have it...

p.s. I am picking up my 5AT CG/EBN tonight!!!

My TSX was held up in port in late July / early August (scheduled to come in 7/28; came in 8/8). Dealer told me it was because they were waiting for a white TSX before they'd make the shipment from San Diego to my area.
