Must have been MrChad. We'll get that at the "aircraft manufacturing plant" on days too. I'm sure it is a by-product of some sort.

BTW, MrChad called up your tint shop and is taking there TSX in next Friday. BASTARD!!! I'm jealous.

I would love to do tint, but I see lines on my windows as it is, so... and I really don't trust anyone around here to do it.

if someone hasnt said this already, you can fight the ticket!!!! f$$k the city. they really cant give u a ticket like that, they have to take out there little gadget, put it aganist your glass, and then it reads the percent. Since they didnt do that then how do u know thats it to dark and the cop could had bad vision. If that dont work then take pictures of the same car with different tints!!!!!!!!!!!!1
over here in nyc, thats how i fight it

My brother had tints on his jeep for about 6 years and he got pulled over for the first time this year for it... I think chicago and chicago-land area cops are really buckling down on the tinting. Sorry to hear, but If they would have saw you in person maybe they would have let you off

If ur refering to "Bay Area" as the bay area in california ..

then i guess this cop has illegal tint too. Bc in cali .. front windows cant have tint unless it's the CLEAR colored UV tints .. in the rear windows no limits on those.

OK lets see, you are a cop....tinted front windows are by all means illegal in Chicago period, no ifs, no meter needed tint on the front 2 is a no no period.

And you see a parked car, but a nice car at that, an Acura. So, if I were him I'd assume the person owning the car could afford the ticket.

And let's be honest Stphy32 ain't hurt'n too bad, she has a fairly kick'n system in the car, and she owns this car (not mom and dad) so let's be honest, $25 bucks isn't really much now is it?

I've blown more then that on beer in a weekend, and I bet Stphy32 has too

Oh, and thanks for the tint shop recommendation Stphy. Our TSX goes in next friday for "tints". I'll likely head up tommorow to pick out the type. I told my wife about the ticket, but you women--she still wants all the windows with tints, go figure...I'll pay for her tint, but I ain't paying the tickets.... :p

I dont see how this cant be a fixit ticket. Whats the point of ticketing someone for something illegal on their car and not make them remove it? Out here, you would have to take the ticket to the court or have a cop sign it off that you corrected the "illegalness" of your car.

b/c it's Chicago and if she fixed it they couldn't ticket it next week again and get another $25. Don't you know how crooked a town Chicago is, it ain't rumors my friend.

What are you talking about? Richard Daley is as honest a politician as they come. Rod Blagojevich too. It's these hooligans tinting their windows that are the problem.

Seriously, though—I have heard of so many people getting tickets lately. Chicago-land is like a fucking police state.

If she paid $25 to the city and another $50 to her Alderman she'd never get another ticket I bet. I love this town!

If you look at the Chicago meet thread, you'll see a pic of her, of course off in the distance, but good enough. The pic I have would surely create some animosity and I'd rather keep her on my good side... HOWEVER, TSX R US is using that particular pic as the basis of the smiley. Fear not, all shall be exposed soon.

stphy32 seems to think it is a bad angle. She only saw it on the preview screen of MrChad's Drebel. Let's just say you can zoom in to an unbelieveable level.

Hey, I'm trying to be as nice as possible while still being a significant contributor to the forum. I could've sent the version 1 of the "Do a search" created by TSX R US, but I thought his "improvements" would be far more impressive of a result... just needs more time.

You could always post a pic of yourself that you like.
