Not me ... but you should have gone for the 6MT ... nothing like learning and driving a manual tranny from the get go. I did and now it is like riding a back.
Enjoy your car and hope you appreciate it ...

I'm 17 and I'm still waiting for the dealer to get a black/ebony which seems like an eternity wait for me.. lol. But yeah I think we would both be the youngest owners in this forum haha..

Are you guys kidding me? When I was 16 my parents gave me an 84 Chevy Caprice Classic Station Wagon to drive. Not that they didn't have the money to buy me a new car, but they just didn't find it wise to buy a new driver a brand new car.
I guess my question is milkman and LOL888, do you actually pay for any of your TSX's or are they from mommy and daddy?
I'm really not jealous, I say good for you if you have someone who will buy you a car. Might as well take it if they are willing to get it for you.

Im 17 and i pay for the car as well as the insurance. I've been looking into cars for about one year. Once i test drove my TSX i knew this was the car i wanted. Im sick of driving around in my TSX and friends saying the same thing. "Oh your parents bought it for you." Hard work pays off in the end huh?

FWIW (splitting hairs again!) I wouldn't say he's a loser -- he has a problem.
(Same thing, sometimes.)

insurance
16...17... 18-year-olds driving TSXs???
Holy insurance Batman! I wonder what you'd be paying in NJ. Probably at least 4-6K/yr.
If it's any consolation Acura3.0cl, I'm 26 with a clean record and will probably be paying at least as much as you for insurance very soon (just moved and need to change companies).

monthly payments: $460 (finance $20k for 4 years... rest was down payment)
insurance: $125 per month
gas: $100 per month
so monthly figure is about $685/month. i'm 22 w/ a clean driving record.

Ok at 17 i've have one accident and one speeding ticket.
My cost's are.
Some where near $400 a month for insurance.
The Car cost is just about right there with my monthly insurance payments.

Ok not to be mean or anthing thing but anyone that is 16-18 will not be able to get a loan for 30k. I have a 2002 accord and I have a job making 40K a year right out of high school and I still could not get a loan. Not even a cosign from my parents. What I had to do was have my parents buy it and after paying it off in 6 month I have the title put in my name. Insurance is high for me. I pay 300 bucks a month. Now that Im 20 I do have enought credit to buy the tsx but im waiting for the tl just to chech it out and it looks nice.

okay... why would parents want to buy their kids a new car if the parents are paying $800+ per month for the car (figuring $400 payments, $400 insurance)?!
granted i'm 22, but if i was a parent with a kid turning 16, i would buy him a beater and buy myself a MB/BMW... perhaps even my dream car... a porsche.

its hard for a 17 year old to get a loan. I was 17 when I graduatd for high school. I mad 2200 a month and still cound not get a load. Now paying 800 month is not hard as long and you have a good job. I was not going to school at the so I would work all the time but no I an going to school but still working full time. It all depend on the person it there parents will help them or not.

This was actually a fake person (our favorite and now banned BMW loser ... not cause he likes BMW's, but because he probably doesn't own one and is a personal attack machine)
Closing down this thread until we have a real 16 yr old with a TSX to give us some perspective on life with a nice car at that age
