'07 Tsx

Hey I'm new here but I'm probably gonna be getting a TSX soon ('06) and I was wondering if there'll be any real changes to the '07 model. I talked to the guy at the dealership and he said it would look the same, but I wasn't sure if that was completely true or if it would have some subtle differences. You guys seem like experts on this stuff so I decided to ask...also when does the '07 model hit dealerships? My worst nightmare is getting a new car and then having it be outdated...I also heard about the '08 redesign and I saw a few pictures...do you guys think it looks better/worse than the current one? thanks a lot...

From past history, it's very likely that there will be some updates, though the extent of those updates is likely to be minimal considering the improvements made for the 2006 model year. At this point, it is too early to state conclusively what updates might be in the pipeline. The '07s won't be available until November most likely. Cars are like computers anymore - it doesn't matter when you buy in; it will be outdated soon. Just pull the trigger. The longer you wait to buy a TSX, the more of your life you have to spend driving something else.

Possibility of keyless entry/start since that option is available in the Japanese Accord.

well Boeshingus right now I'm driving my mom's S430 so it's not like I'm driving a Geo or whatever that thing is...I'm talking about design, exterior changes to the car...I like how it looks now tho...just hoping it doesn't look any different on '07 cuz I don't wanna drive an outdated-looking car...

It happens, man. I bought my '05 in July; four months later people are getting a newer navi system and bluetooth. It sucks, but what are you going to do? You just have to get in and deal with it. Or you have to blow lots of money to buy a new car each year. Or you have to become a fortune teller with the ability to accurately predict the future - and if you can do that, place a few strategic bets and you can afford any car you want.

hmm...how about this...wait till November to see the changes and decide if it's worth paying close to MSRP for it. If not, you can still get the '06 for even cheaper than now since the dealers want to get rid of the '06s by then.
