07 or 08 CPO TSX??

Hey guys! I have been looking at CPO TSX (non NAV) for past few months in Nor Cal/Bay area and here is what I have-

07 CPO TSX- a couple with 27-28 K miles and listed for $20,500-21000 range; one with 22.5 K miles at $21995.

08 CPO TSX- 23.5K miles at $21995.

I know there is no difference between 07 and 08 in terms of model but has one year turned out to be better than the other in terms of overall reliability, issues etc??

The 08 will give me an additional 6-8 months of original warranty over the 07's based on date first registered.

Any comments on these prices? Thanks a lot and looking forward to being a first time Acura owner in the near future.

I have an 07 and am pretty sure that you'd find that both 07's and 08's enjoy comparable dependability (as well as 05's and 06's). I'm in Mass. and have no idea what the market is in CA (and am of the opinion that used car prices are quite regional), so I won't comment on the price issue (and if I were you, I'd only pay attention to comments about price from others in your area). But... other things being equal, I think going for the newer car (08 versus 07) is a no brainer. Aside from buying another year of warranty (I assume), when it comes time to sell the car, it's another model year newer.

As Simba has mentioned prices vary from region to region. I purchased my 07 TSX with 23,500 miles as a CPO for $20,300.

I'd go in there and talk down the 08 a tad bit, I'm sure they still have room to play. All things being equal it seems with mileage to year to small price difference I'd go the 08 route too. Either way both are great years and neither will/should let you down as long as they're maintained properly.

'08 sounds like a better deal, but it seems like a tad high of a price... I would look at getting the car elsewhere and having it shipped or driving it back. That's what I'll be doing since there aren't many in my area (KC, MO) and they're priced a bit higher than the rest of the country.

Thanks for all the responses. The 08 was old before i could get to it. So, my two options now are-07 TSX, premium white with 27K miles for 20,50007 TSX with NAV, gray with 17K miles for 22,000Which seems to be a better deal? I am planning to purchase tomorrow. BTW, the daeler is also offering the genuine Acura Care 7ys/100K miles with 0 deductible for $960. I probably will get that for my peace of mind especially if I buy the car with NAV.

The 07s actually rank higher than 08s in reliability in Consumer Reports surveys. I would go with the NAV, simply because I like PWP color and have found the NAV very useful and well integrated with HVAC and radio.

What are the interior colors? Do you have access to the service records?

Got my TSX today

Just to update- picked up our TSX with NAV today.
It is a 2007 grey CPO with 17.7K miles on it. Paid 21700 + TTL. Also purchased the 7yrs, 100K Miles AcuraCare for $955. I am quite happy with the deal!

Congratulations! Pleae let us know your thought process on how you decided between the two. NAV or no NAV. Price, mileage, colors, etc. It will help other when they are faced with CPO buying options.

Hi! These were my 2 choices-

07 non-NAV premium white pearl with 27K miles for 20500 and the 07 NAV grey TSX with 17K miles for 21700. We test drove the grey one first and liked it and just decided to negotiate on that. The big pluses were the lower miles and the color for us. I could have lived without the NAV. Also, this was a local car and the dealer had the service records on this, so that was also helpful.

Now, I just need to spend some time reading about the NAV and the voice active commands etc and what all can be done!!
