06 Wipers are Shite
I got new inserts at the dealer and they work faaantastically... i'm definitely pleased.. I donno how other people aren't having the same experiences if they're all the same OEM blades? ..
the old ones were chattering but that was after cleaning ice off the windshield in the winter not-so-carefully which I feel is what damages most blades...

Mine work fine. Might be new ones from the certification in June,... okay, likely new ones. But I've kept the windshield very, very clean consistently, and I clean the 'shield before a rain so that the blades don't have dirt or debris to rub in and smear. Might just be the trick, guys. Here in NC, where it rains more than most anywhere (excepting droughts), I find that clean windshield+good/new blades resolves most issues.

P.S. QUESTION: I don't suppose that, like the cabin air filter, the wiper blades are compatible with any Honda vehicles? I.e. that I can get replacement blades from a Honda dealer locally or online?
'07 Wipers Are The Same
I recently traded the '06 for an '07. Basically no change except for tire pressure monitoring. The wipers were beautifully silent for the first few times and then the passenger side started the infernal chattering!! I'm done with this crap and I know that the dealer can't fix it. I'll be shopping the aftermarket for some premium blades. PIAA perhaps.
I took my 06 in to the dealer and complained about the wipers and they ordered new assemblies, which include new arms and springs. They said it's a common problem.
Unfortunately, the driver's side arm is on back order.
