Smile 06 TSX Bi-xenon Conversion

My pass. low beam went out today. It just started flickering when I started the car, and poof. They were new D2S bulbs at 8000K. They are not supposed to go out anytime soon. I suppose that's a different matter for eBay.
Of course when a light goes out on your car, what do you do? Find a more expensive way to replace it... lol

I'm curious if anyone here has done a Bi-xenon Conversion. I would like to have my low/high beams as HIDs. (projector controlled, not two little suns for on coming traffic) How would this function be controlled? with the stock switches? Maybe both plugs from low/high go into the conversion kit? Would I have to crack open my housings again to get them in? I can't remember how the projectors were installed right now...

danke

If I understand this correctly, you want to tie your high beams into your projectors? If that's the case, you will not achieve what you are looking for. Projectors are designed to focus (and cut off) light in a very controlled pattern. High beams are aimed higher and wider to extend light pattern which is dangerous and blinding to oncoming traffic. If you integrate high beams into your projectors, you will get light from your high beam bulbs projected in exactly the same pattern as your low beam bulbs. IMO, this would be pointless as it won't extend or vary your visibility.

He's asking about a bi-xenon set up, like vettes have, not like our cars have. Where there is 1 projector that has the ability to remove the thing that produces the cuttoff and provide a full view HID insted of just the bottom half in view.

Yup! That's what I'm wondering. I don't want to blind people but I would like to get my high beams into a type of projector with my low beams. My high beam bezel is useless in the state it is now, and I would like to put other LEDs in there anyways. My low beams are AMAZINGLY bright with 8000K, and I get more visibilty than my cuzins 05 TL At 4300K sitting next to each other. Altho I did aim mine higher bc I painted the highs.
