Was Just looking at the features on the New '06. I have a '05 and was wondering wouldn't many of those features be available on the New DVD I could buy. Or did they upgrade the entire Navi, wouldnt seem like they would do that. Just curious

From the new features list:
Enhanced Acura Navigation System (optional)
Larger buttons and fonts
Faster processing speed
Points of Interest (POI) database increased to 7 million
HandsFreeLink calling to POI
More voice recognition commands (653)

It's hard to tell at this time but I wouldn't be surprised if the hardware has also been updated.

I'm sure the hardware has been updated (faster nav = better cpu + faster drive(?))... but I'm hoping <praying> that we can at least get the Zagat and POIs.... voice commands would be nice, but I don't care about those as much as the Zagat guide...

The POI Database and the Restaurant Guide are undoubtly on the DVD. Don't see why these won't be on updated DVDs for the older cars. Why make two DVD versions?

The Handsfreelink calling must be hardware, since it would use the bluetooth connection to your cellphone. The rest are probably in the OS rom, although the faster processing speed may be a faster CPU.
