Went by my local dealer today ( I like to go when they are closed so I'm not hasseled if they don't have what I want), and I didn't see any 06's yet, although they probably had 6-7 05 TSX's.

Feliz: Thanks for the info on vancouver pricing - your numbers make sence to me.

I may just wait until the price comes down a little.

I just love the richness of that black TSX. Everytime I look at it I'm glad I went with that one. Now I just need to see if the TLs stock wheels will fit the TSX. I'll make those my summer ones. If not those then some other 18s.

Ipod kit puts the Ipod in your dash while you control the song through voice and radio controls. projected $225, December.

Of course it is. The Icelink is $250, and it sounds like this does more since it allows you to use voice.

what the heck is the Icelink?

This sounds like a total waste of money. so what, voice commands?

you cant press a button? for $225, i can press a button, and i'll buy something worth it.

You get a cable with the male plug on both ends; plug one end in the car and the other in your portable audio device. Then you select the Aux input for your car audio source and press play on the device. Insted of the sound going to headphones, it's amplifyed and comes out the car speakers just like the radio or CD.

Don't need the $200+ kit, but cant control skip-rewind-play throught the car controls, only volume. Skip-Rewind-Play-Etc. have to be controlled on the device itself. This is the ideal input for those who just like to put their MP3 players on random and let them play.

The Rozzas would be my choice, wife didn't think it was worth the $3000 they wanted for the upgrade. Afrer working so hard to get the car at $2k off MSRP, I thought it would be a shame to toss $3000 at a wheel upgrade and not get to keep the brand new stock wheels and tires that i just bought.

Ok, so besides voice command you get steering controls, intergrates with the display, charges the ipod, connects to the bottom connector, which supposedly has better sound output then the headphone port.

Its worth it to me.

So then is there a new "Ipod" button on the headunit? How do you tell the stereo to output the Ipod sound?

I was considering hooking an Ipod up to the glove compartment connection for MP3s and then connecting a Sirius tuner to the AUX input. I guess that idea is out.

You are correct about better sound out of the dock port, but to get that and the charging I plan to just use one of these:

Congrats Markcoburn and feliz on getting your 06 TSX's. This is aka Excited. In Maui (Paradise) and having a great time. I couldn't remember my password so I had to enter under my license plate name.

I will be able to check out the Acura dealer in a couple of days although I see someone already beat me to it. I hope that there is still one left to see.

I will be getting mine in a week's time upon my return.

Still really Excited

Tell me more good things about it to get me even more excited? Did you notice a performance improvement?

I have 8 minutes left on this internet cafe account.

By the way if you park near the airport December 1st evening I can see your TSX from the plane!!

Very few Acura's on Maui. Lots of white cars and lots of Ford Escapes. The roads on the north end of the island would be great for the TSX's with all of the sharp curves.

Excited
