'05 CG/6MT/Navi - Pick up yesterday!!

After a long wait for my TSX, it finally arrived.

I went to pick the car up at 4ish yesterday, but left my cell phone at home. When I arrived, the dealer asked if I had received he message. Since I didn't have my cell, I missed it. So he tells me that they are running behind and the car is going to be at least another hour. Then I find out why: My father came in the day before and dropped off a comptech short shifter to install Needless to say, I didn't mind waiting.

I got the car for $30, 843 + taxes = $33,097 OTD. That price includes the underbody kit and lo-jack installed. Basically I got $1000 off MSRP, no too bad I guess considering I ordered the car about 2.5 months ago.

Here are the pictures that I have taken:
http://www.ofoto.com/BrowsePhotos.js...id=60587444107

I have put about 60 miles on the car already and am loving it!!! Test out the handling with a 30 mph left hand turn onto my street last night. The car stuck like glue.

Does your sunroof have a "one-touch" open/close feature?

Sorry, I completely meant to post about that too. No, the sunroof is not one touch.

Funny thing is, the dealer says that here is really no break in, and all the manual says is to avoid full throttle accellerations for the first 600 miles and hard breaking for the first 200.

Of course, I still haven't gone past 3500 RPM... I am still skeptickal of what the dealer told me and will continue to be kind until 600-1000 miles

Oh yeah... and i forgot to mention that I have the honor of having the first '05 TSX in the state of RI. (ok, I know, that isn't a big deal, but I figured that I would mention it.)

Sorry, I tried my best in that department, unfortunatly, the illumination is not good enough to show up... i attepmted several picutures and ended up with several black photos. If i am successful, I will be sure to post.

if anybody has any tips on how to get this shot, feel free to let me know. I am using a gateway DC-M42 (which i think is basically a Canon in disguise)

I am sooooo jealous! I love the OEM kit! I'm definitely going to get it if I decide to go with a TSX.

Just the Front, side and rear underbody spoiler's. They just called it the underbody kit. It is alot easier than listing all the components every time you talk about it.

I think the OEM kit does wonders for the car. It makes the car look even better. I do not regret getting the underbody kit in the least. Now i just need to start doing some cheap mods, such as debadging (which I think looks awesome), rear lip spoiler and quite possibly mesh behind the grille, like in this thread: https://acurazine.com/forums/showthr...9&page=2&pp=25

$33,000?????? Did the price go up this year or did they just charge a lot for the Lo-Jack?

My 2004 was non-navi, but I got the front lip, rear lip, sideskirts, rear spoiler, and wheels for $31,000- that's installed with taxes. No discount.
