What I do miss, as many posters have noted, is the solidity--there truly is nothing like the doors and trunk, which on the TSX feel like a Chevy.
Like quintno, I'm also coming from a '96 A4 which I bought new and drove for 100,000 miles. I had many of the same maintenance experiences as he, apparently. It made me think twice about buying a new Audi, but I would have bought one anyway had I been really impressed with the new A4. The dealer where I shopped handled both Acura and Audi, so I was able to compare the TSX and A4 side-by-side. The Acura was simply nicer all around, price notwithstanding. The A4 is one of those few cars that actually look better in photos than in life. Am alone in thinking that it s new gaping fish mouth is plain repulsive?
