The trunk light comes on when I first open the trunk lid but then goes off when the lid is fully open. Must be a loose or faulty switch. Where is the switch for this light?

doh! I dont think there is a switch in the trunk, but the wiring ( i believe) runs through the left side hinge.

jiggle it...just a little bit...

doh, well I had the same problem, it stems from the trunk recall on the 04's. I had the recall done, but still had a problem later, eventually on of the tail lights went out. just bring it in to the dealership and tell them to check the recall harness, they should fix it

thanks for the input.

I checked on the harness recall, and Acura said that it was done in Dec 2004 (before I bought the car - used). Sounds like the harness problem may have re-occurred. Acura suggested I take the TSX back the dealer for evaluation. They are willing to help if the same harness has a problem.
