04 Civic Si in Canada
I am talking the sedan guys, they added a Si model for the 04 sedan with the 127HP VTEC I-4...does it mean we will not see the 1.7 EL again after 06? IMO both EL and RSX don't belong in the Acura lineup, they need to get Integra back under Honda's lineup to fill the gap between Civic SiR and S2000(well even EL is the best selling Acura here in Canada)
what do you think?

It certainly looks that way.
I mentioned in the other thread about the 04 EL that the sales guy I talked to this past January was saying the EL will be around for at least another 3 years....so maybe it'll go away sooner than expected.
However, I figure that since they did just refreshed it, they'll probably keep it around for more than 3 more years.
It'd be nice if they made the EL into something that's more in the RSX price range, with all the amenities that would come with the higher price. Then, Acura would have an Entry level car to "Get 'em while they're young", as well as the car they can step up to when they're in their mid-twenties (TSX), and a car to move up to when they get into "starting a family" age (TL).
It makes perfect sense to me. But, I guess since Honda and Acura are the same company, they could leave Honda to the "Get 'em while they're young" thing, and Acura just concentrates on the "Get 'em while they're stinkin' rich, but before they get too old to really appreciate a good car".
