Here ya go~
I'm waiting to pick up the inserts tomorrow. The kit looks amazing except tiny little cracked edges but not noticible. The body shop did great job. I'll give B+ for the whole kit BTW the wing is not from SSG lol

What do you mean? I thought you dropped your kit off to your friend's dad's bodyshop already. He's not going to do that?

This keeps getting better and better.

He didn't send the rear plate? I dunno bout u guys but http://i78.photobucket.com/albums/j1...d/CIMG2495.jpg kinda made me think it was part of the package...

And yet.. none of you are complaining about it. Funny considering thats a $500 Mugen accessory.

CC did you get it on the car yet?

Nope. I have a final exam early next week so I'll install it right after the exam. BTW I had my front inserts painted by a local body shop. I bought a chrom spray from Duplicolor and brought it to the body shop to ask them to paint with this paint. But you know what? The inserts are exact same color as my car now(SSM)! The chrome color became SSM I didn't know my car is in DCC(Dupli Color Chrome) So I decided to go with chrome paint from ALSA Anyway, don't do clear coat on painted insert. It'll dull shine of the original paint and make it darker.

Bit of a warning on alsa chrome. I've heard numerous complaints about it. House of Kolor's seems to be the winner and its cheaper.

I heard that stuff comes cheaper and looks better.

Any "chrome" paint that comes in a spray can makes me wonder.

Its real, it just doesnt work as perfectly as you would want. They painted someones lambo chrome.. some rapper i think. It works its just extremely difficult to use correctly is all. The spray can stuff doesnt work half as good as normally spraying. In all reality its worth a shot if ur not short on cash, but if it was going on my $30k car, i'd pay to have it done by a professional.

Also notice how milky the video looks, and the cutscene where it stops then starts, also noticed how the chrome doesnt look even.

SSG you have to say to people in US about importing fee which is about 70$. It's not 650$ for people in US it's actually 720$. Just letting you know guys.

Hmmm, interesting...where is it being imported from? Canada?

Also, when are we going to see pics of the kit installed on your car? I would consider a 2006 full Mugen kit, but I want to see SSG's handiwork in a pic before I'd commit to anything...

its from Canada. I marked the full package as a $180 Gift.

so unless you were really unlucky and the opened up the package and think is worth more. you dont get charge.

only 1-2% of the people might get charge $20-$60

Not correct. You only sold four kits here and I got charged 61$ for that so it's 25% so far. Not 1~2% I don't know where you got the stat like that lol

Don't you think you're responsible for this huh? You do business like this always? You gotta pay extra 10% because you're unlucky one after you got the payment? You know why I got the bill don't you? You shipped the package as a 180$ gift, which is not, to save your money and now the shipping company reailzed the package is not a 180$ gift and asking me to pay 60$ for that. I don't know why should I pay for this. You saved your money by making false statement and I'm responsible for that? What a non-sense I didn't ask you to send the kit as 180$ gift What do you think SSG?

I have no idea why are you guys complaining sooo much about Custom? I'm not helping SSG here but this is the fact, custom does charge by the border and it has nothing to do with the seller...

Example...

I have bought a Used high-flow cat on this forum for $120USD, I got charged on custom for $30CDN, plus $18.50CDN for UPS brokage fee. My total price is approx $160USD, but it has nothing to do with the dealer. I paid almost 33% on top, should I cry to the seller?

My friend had bought a set of tires (4) from the States because it's about $500CDN cheaper than getting it from Canada, he got charge $230CDN for tax and ~$80CDN from UPS Brokage, so should TireRack paid for his custom or mark up the price because the receiver needs to pay $310CDN extra???

When the seller are willing to mark down the price, it will lower your chance of getting charge on custom, OR even if you get charge, it will based on the "claimed" amount on the shipping slip unless it's suspicious. The only disadvantage is, when your item is lost, OR if you item is damage, the courier company will only reinburse the ""claimed" amount, so toss a coin there.

CUSTOM incl. Tax (your local) + Tariff + other BS. This is explanable if you are willing to spend time to call the border. However, good luck on your brokage fee. Try calling Fedex and UPS and ask them the forumla on HOW TO calculate the brokage fee, they will NEVER have an answer for you. That's why they are having a global lawsuits right now.

Holy *Beep* you are complaining you got charged $60.00 for something that big.. I recently bought rays center caps from the states and it was like $90.00 and the seller put that exact price and I got hit with $50.00 custom charges.. how about you buy stuff local and I buy stuff local so we dont get hit with customs.. next time dont complain because we all get hit with those stupid fees/customs/taxes.. go complain to BUSH or someone who makes these laws and stuff..

What? 60$ for 90$ stuff? Have you tried to figure out why they charged 40$ for that? Cuz That doesn't make any sense. I'm sure I have've shipped more than 100 packages more than 200$ value overseas and marked value like 150$ or 130$ every time. I got cought just once because that was 1300$ value Marc Jacobs bag and she paid 100$ for that. BTW please watch your mouth and grow up!!! 26 years old guy still use --->*beep*??? not cool. I would buy locally if there were two SSGs one in US and the other in CD so please don't say something stupid and what does it mean "go complain to BUSH???"---> Does BUSH make laws?
