=( oh beautiful black paint..

the plastic foot of a luggage think hit my bumper...and it left a few scratches on the top edge of the bumper. They don't seem to be deep? Seems more like a slight abrasion.

Anybody have any steps to go about resolving the paint? I guess the only thing i think i can do is get a porter tomorrow and see if i can buff it out...any thoughts?

See if you can polish the imperfections out. Use the least aggressive grade and see what results you can achieve. I have a PC and you can do a lot with the right pad and polish.

Hopefully the damage is not severe enough to require a body shop.

yeah, my gf didn't have enough strength and it hit my bumper when she tired to put it on the floor. It doesn't look too bad, its like a 1 inch diameter haze =T.

I thought she was gonna let me pull it out...=(

Fingers crossed for tomo, gonna go find some polish, and hopefully an outlet?

Have you had any luck since you bought this car?

I've been driving for 7 years now and have less incidents than you do.

Doubtful... have you thought of running an extension cord?

Try it by hand first (elbow grease!)... if that doesnt work satisfactorily, then search for power.

oh yea definately doing it by hand first, but i dunno if it'll come out by hand, the scratch is noticible on angles, but i'lld ef use a few steps of scratch x first, then some compound before using a power tool.

im upstate in an apartment for college so theres no way to get power from somewhere...maybe my friends rental house has one? hopefully.

Yeah..i've been getting some wicked luck with this car...

500 miles in a pothole dead smack on the suggested lane on the highway took out my right wheel

1000 in i get 5 door dings when I always park on the right most spot, and at the same time overlap into the empty space next to it....

1900 miles in i get my first speeding ticket

2100 miles i get a accidental scratch

my brother's car got sorta rear ended (very low speed) and it scratched his bumper a little. we took it to the dealer to ask about how much it would cost to fix. they decided to try to buff it out first. you can't even tell it was there. no charge. (06 tsx)

The exact same thing happened to me. I FOOLISHLY offered to pick my aunt up at the airport (to be nice etc,.....even though I cant stand her) a little while ago. When we got to our destination I quickly got out to get to the luggage first so she couldnt do anything to the TSX,.......but alas I didnt make it. She grabbed one side and tried to pull it out while I took hold of the other. She dropped the suitcase on her end and I now have three small gashes in the top lip of my bumper. No way they will buff out that is fore sure. I am not sure what I am going to do about them. No way in heck I will get a cent out of her to pay for any repair etc. My mom (her sister) wont let me say anything either.
