It's tougher to know what kind of price you're getting if you have trade-in involved. Mine's much simpler.

Oh well, if I don't end up getting a TSX, I'll save up for a TL instead!
i hear you on the TL.....sweet ride!

with regards to my trade-in...its a 1998 honda civic si. its silver, auto, 185km, power everything, sunroof, no rust/damage. it has a 3-piece spoiler, dropped on ST springs/tokico illuminas, f/r camber kit, exhaust, intake, strut bars. i have nice RH 17" rims/yoko paradas, but i wont trade those as i can probably sell them for about a grand no problem.

so far ive received offers from dealers that range from 3500 to over 6000. if i can get 6000 plus taxes (6900) on the car, then its not too bad. i figure if i sell privately, i would ask $8000 and might get $7000....

I'm not sure about Canadian currency (what do you use? Maple syrup? Moose droppings?), but if you can get a 2004 for 10% cheaper than a 2005, go for it. The only new feature I care about is XM, and you can get that aftermarket on a 2004 easily enough.

Maybe you guys were wrong about this $1400 cash back thing?
I was expecting the dealership to blink and call me back. I figure if they factor the cash back into their costs, they should still be making some money off me.
Any thoughts?

I dunno about this one but I know sometime those cash back or PDI waive are only apply to if you bought the car on full MSRP.
