Suspension set up?????

Hey everyone, I just wanted to get an idea of what lowering suspension people are using? I wanna lower my ride, but at the same time don't want to lose the comfort. I also don't wanna spen 5k on air runners otherwise that would be my first choice. Just want to get some ideas.

^ just know that by lowering your car it will increase wear on other suspension components.

ive heard nothing but good reviews on the koni yellow's though.

Yea of course, but that kinda goes for any kind of performance mods you do. It's the price you pay for making your car look good. I might look into the koni with maybe sportline set up, or maybe check tokico blues

RS*R and Espelir springs, too. Risky Auto coilovers are also available for about $2000 in Japan.

~Cheers~

I( put these on my car when i could not find any parts for it. I had ground controls with stock shocks, which is a TERRIBLE SETUP. They will ALWAYS 150% OF THE TIME blow the shocks out in two days. You MUST run aftermarket shocks with ground controls. So i took the ground controls off, and got this entire setup when my car was converted back to stock.. I then woke up with a hair in my ass one day, and decided to rebuild the whole car so i then got the koni race shocks and stuff i have now and took these off. They have every bit of 3-4 months of use, IF THAT..

The other brand springs that lower it ANY MORE than the pro kit WILL FOR SURE blow out your shocks. Then the car will ride like total garbage.

You can take other peoples advice, but i am just explaining this to you because ive been modifying this car since 01 and ive had like 5 different setups on it and KNOW what im talking about.

good luck and lmk

Mod edit: Please create a thread in BM if you want to sell stuff...

Oh, I left out Insurance, too. Anyhow, RS*R, Espelir, JIC Magic, and Insurance springs ALL are identical except for labelling, paint and box. Seriously. Same spring rates, height, everything but the prices.

375.00 and they are yours FULLY ASSEMBLED

thats like over 1k worth of parts i bought, for around 400 bones shipped..

ill trade the suspension for inspire BLACK housing headlights and tail lights..
Are these still available? I am already have the Eibach prokit but recently I've heard some knocking in my right rear passenger side. So I am assuming it is time for new shocks since I have not replaced them since I bought the car. The drop I have 3/4 and 1/2 inch drop. I don't know about the 2 you have there. I think that might be too much for boston streets. let me know. If you did sell them, what do you suggest for shocks? There has been way too many conflicting answers in these threads and I would prefer to only pay once. Thanks.

Mod Edit from KaM: Colt, please first post a black market thread if you want to sell these.

We are trying to keep all for sale items in the black market so the members can properly use the trader ratings function.

will not fit.. 2.5 uses different front stuff and pretty sure different rear lower anchor bolt?

Id assume the main difference is in the front. Youd be putting a spring for more sprung weight in the front on the 3.2 model. Id assume it would probably sit just as high if not higher on a 2.5. May not even have a large diameter spring on the 2.5 like the 3.2 has.. I have no idea, ive literally never even looked at a 2.5 model in my life.

speaking of suspension. Ive been shredding in the tl all over the place as of late.. I can dive into a 35mph turn at about 80, keep it held in d3, back off the gas, and the rear will snap oversteer out so smooth and control-able. Stab back into the gas, and it straightens out as you exit the turn.. Ultra perfect balance for me, especially considering this car started out handling like DOG SHIT with the tremendous understeer.

koni spss2 revalved, 800/900, 3/4 antiroll bar FTW
