19-20 inch tire size???
well its been quite some time since i had wheels on my car. I used to have a racing hart c5 19x7.5 and i honestly dont remember the offset now. Theres probably pictures on here some place but either way....
I was running a 215 35 19 tire im pretty sure. My question is... Has anyone ran a larger profile 19 inch tire with little to no issues with rubbing.
The 19s i had had little problems with rubbing unless it was pounded which does not really matter what size wheels you run at that point.
I am looking to get a little more sidewall because the 35 series is not enough for a 4 thousand pound car with cincinnati roads.
My 19s were bent in a few months and I had multiple impact bubbles from broken belts in the sidewall. Id like to get something thats a little larger for a 19x7 inch wheel.
Also those of you out there running 20s do you suffer these same instances with bending wheels and so forth.
Are there significant issues with rubbing on these 20 inch wheel ua's
Im thinking the 20 inch deal is a "ridin high" big wheel type ordeal from the sounds of it. I dont want some jacked up car. I want to be able to lower it, and have the inspired motorsports lip kit so it wont be so high and may benefit from larger wheels

I pretty much ruled the 20s out. The car on 19s is ideal Just the 215 35 the sidewall is too small.
225 is what i planned on but i was curious about 40 series
35%of 225 is bigger than 35% of 215 though.. I was hoping someone has ran a 225 40 19 in here.
I have 245 45 17 v700 kumhos on here now with like a 35 offset i think. Rubs a little on the rear bumper when i rip a turn really hard, but the car is severely driven.
I just took a dremel to the rear bumper inside the wheel well and cut the problematic area out and it looks perfect. Then took a die grinder to the lip inside the wheel well. Granted it took some of the pinch welds out but i just gently tigged the seam back in there. Im repainting it soon anyhow so i wasnt concerned with damaging the paint in the wheel well. I just did my work then re-undercoated the area.
Ill do a complete how to when i put the nsx brakes on it in the next few days.
I ordered the 91-96 calipers, project mu ns pads, and brembo blanks for the 95 legend gs.
I need some lines next. Anyone?
haha
Lates and thanks for the imput.
