I got this 1996 2.5 acura tl a few months back and it only went in reverse. I did a tranny flush and cleaned the shift solenoid on the top of the transmission and after that the car went in drive and all gears(Lasted about 3 months). Recently the car will shift from 1-2 roughly but then on 2-3 when its about to shift the RPM's just shoot up once they are around 3000 and the transmission does not catch anything. I heard there's another shift solenoid on the side of the transmission somewhere, has anyone taken this one off for a problem like this?
