Temperature gauge '97 Acura 3.0 CL
 

Hi there, need some advise with my Acura 3.0 Cl 1997: as soon as I put the car on contact the temperature gauge comes up to 1/4 even without starting the car. After 10-15 minutes driving it comes up to nearly the red zone , it goes down a little at the traffic light etc .I checked the hose and you can still touch and sqeeze it so it looks that it is not overheating. I disconnected the temperature sensor and even then the needle comes up to 1/4 without starting the car ?? comments and advise are more then welcome.Thanks

You're in the first generation TL section......but it sounds like a bad sender.
