Rack and Pinion boot replacement
On my 98 3.2TL, the driver's side boot is damaged. Can it be replaced without having to pull the Rack and Pinion assy from the car?
Thanks.
Thanks.

I haven't done a 3.2TL, but have done an Accord w/ similar setup.
You do have to release the tie-rod ball joint from the wheel knuckle (search "tie rod end ball joint lifter") and remove the tie-rod ball joint (releas lock nut and unthread the ball joint). from the tie-rod end to allow the new boot to be installed over the tie-rod end.
good luck

Free bump...lol
I got a question. I was about to post another thread but I searched...
I need both inner tie rod boots. I looked around but all the part stores and even the dealership only have the left boot. It doesn't come in complete kit and none of them have for right side. They both look same but part store told me it might not fit. Any thoughts.

There are two different boots. Acura should be able to supply. I bought both for my 2.5TL w/o problems last year. Following is page of Acura parts.
