help! - gauge and day lights out?
My gauge lights in the dash, day lights, and tail lights are out, and bulbs/fuses look fine and whatever connections are visable look good. I left my day lights on when I went to the store, only about 10 min, when I started the car they were off and haven't come on since. The day lights and tail lights will still blink when I push my alarm so I figure the connections are still good. All other lights still work fine.
any ideas where to start looking will help
thanks

Day lights? You mean headlights? Anyhow, have u checked the 10 amp fuse in the driver side fuse box by the pedals? I blew one fuse there and none of my gauge lights would come on. The power wires for my reverse HIDs touched each other by accident (temporary hookup) and that's what caused mine to blow. Took awhile before I remembered about that little box down there.

What I mean by daylights is when you turn your lights on half way or one click from off, I dont know what thats considered, the main headlights and foglights still work, and yeah , I checked the fuses by the pedals and they were all good. I'm startin to think it has to do with my aftermarket alarm system, because all the lights effected blink when I activate/deactivate it. I dont know anything about alarm systems, but I heard they usually have there own fuses/relays somewhere
Would you happen to know where they'd be?
thanks for the reply

Found Problem!!!......finally
I was about to go around the car with a Meter to resistance test all the wires, so in order to do so I had to unplug everything, then I noticed a melted connector beneath the under-hood fuse box which caused the ground to touch another wire. When I separated the two wires the lights turned right on. Hopefully Acura sells just that one connector, and not some "whole fuse box package" which we know will be $$$.
From looking around online, apparently a lot people get this light problem with all kinds of cars and can't find whats wrong, so remember to check this if it ever happens to you.
