Question A few problems with my acura I bought. Need advice.

1. I just bought a 1996 acura 3.2 TL off of craigslist recently. It was for only 2800 so pretty good deal but the guy said the odometer broke when he was working on it. I am aware that he could've been lying and just broke it trying to turn back the odometer. That's irrelevant now that I have bought it. I just want to know how to get it working again. Any help would be appreciated. Speedometer and all other gauges work.

2. Cruise control doesn't work. Not sure why.

3. I've noticed everybody has slow windows that also scratch. Has anybody found a fix to make them faster and not scratch?

Also, not sure if it's a big deal but every once in a while, typically when I start the car it makes a loud rumbling noise that I can feel if I have my foot on either the accelerator or brake. Only lasts a second but just curious if anyone knows why it does that.

Thanks!

I think your last problem is simply the ABS pump, mine does that.
Maybe the Odo and cruise are related?
I seldom use my windows, but others have lubed the tracks with good lubricant (not WD40).
I wonder if scratching is due to something that guides the window wearing out?
