You dont state the year of your car so I will give the info from the gen2 2001 TL owner book on cold start procedure. Usually you dont touch anything on a fuel injected car- but there are exceptions as follows
paraphrasing page 165 Starting the engine
In cold weather turn off all accessories to prevent battery drain
*********************
If the engine starts but stalls right away,
apply gas pedal 1/2 way down.
Start engine- be prepared to release gas pedal to prevent high revs
If still no luck, wait 15 seconds, push gas all the way down and hold it there, crank engine to clear flooded condition and should start then
Above 8000 feet use 1/2 down procedure for easy start
Let us know if that fixes it

You may get better starting by simply turning keyswitch to ON for 3-5 secs to allow fuel pump time to bring fuel pressure fully up. A leaking injector can cause pressure to go to zero after a shutdown, and it will take a few seconds to rebuild pressure, hence hard start.
