check engine light/transmission help!?

Well yesterday June 6th i got my car back from having the starter fixed, and everything is going fine till today boom.....randomly the check engine light came on and i noticed my car is shifting roughly. I take it to auto zone to have them hook up the onboard diagnostic tool or whatever it is called. It reads back two errors that were just generic for something with the transmission is faultering.

Whats more strange is that now the speedometer is not working at all but other guages are fine.

On a side note a person told me when getting my oil changed (months back) that i had a very small transmission leak, i have been checking it every once in a while. I am gonna check here now.

But please advise or offer and suggestions .

Thanks!

Check my posts. I installed sensor coil and rotor from Accord VSS in my 2.5TL VSS to repair. Accord VSS is $25 vs. $150 for 2.5TL. Easy transfer, 3 phillips head screws to remove parts and transfer.

good luck
