i'm changing my driver side axle in a day or so and wanted to know if i have to change the dif. fluid on my 98 2.5 before i do it or not.

 

If you haven't changed recently, it should be drained before removing the axle and replaced w/ new fluid. I recently replaceed this axle and replaced fluid w/ new synthetic transaxle lubricant (walmart brand).

I went to the honda site and found diy on this but not sure if it was the same for my car. I'll just follow the directions and see where it takes me. I'll also change the fluid before I do change it. Thanks for you help
