97 TL 2.5 ECU Fuse Blowing = Security System or Cruise Control malfunction?
 

I've done some research and have noticed that my issue could possibly be caused by the security system (or related the cruise control). My 97 TL 2.5 will not start. Initially thought it was the starter, replaced it, still nothing. Upon further inspection, the ECU fuse was blown. Replaced it, tried to start the car, nothing, and that fuse had blown also. The car will not start, but the radio and lights all work. Cannot shift out of Park. Could this be the security system seizing the car up? If so, what would the solution to that be?
