1998 3.2TL front rotor replacement - DIY?

Does anyone have some info on this? I know that some of the 2.5's are a bit of a PITA. Any help/info would be greatly appreciated.

the front rotor replacement for a 3.2TL is not complicated at all.. just take off the wheel, unbolt the caliper... unscrew the two rotor holding screws and the rotor should pull off...

On the 96 Acura TL 2.5 The Rotors are pressed onto the Hub in the Front. The Rear Rotors come off with the 2 screws.

Yeah the front rotors on the 2.5 I think you have to remove the wheel axle bolt, make sure you release the punch dent in the bolt and you might need a breaker bar to get this off. Not the easiest thing to do but it can be done.

Funny thing, I had my tires rotated by a tire shop (normally do this myself but I had them do it to maintain my tire warranty) upon inspection they told me my front brake pads are down to 3mm and front rotors are grooved. He also told me that with my particular car (97 3.2tl) is that they have to remove the front axle (or something like that) to replace the rotors which would add like 2 extra hours of labour charges. Are they yanking my chain?
I tried to find instruction in my service manual about removing the rotors but can't find any.

The 3.2TL should be very easy and has nothing pressed on like the 2.5TL. Just remove your caliper, two screws on the rotor, then pull it off.
