Hello all,
I am new to the forum here. I have a 1996 Acura TL 2.5 that I purchased from an auction here in KC. I paid $500 for it. I thought I was getting a decent deal considering the car is 16/17 years old. The body/interior is in excellent shape and at first glance the car seemed fine. WRONG ,The car smokes like it has some Seafoam in it! Well I decided to roll up my sleeves and Do it myself. I have the car torn half way down and now I'm stuck trying to remove the crankshaft pulley (Goal is to take heads off and have redone,and replace everything in-between). The place where the pulley holder goes, is in the shape of the chevy (small cross) emblem. I have not seen any anywhere, and I have read some of the threads on this site that says I don't have to use that special tool to remove the pulley. I don't have any air tools, so that out. I DO have the 19mm socket 1/2 and breaker bar. Any suggestion are GREATLY appreciated.
