Yup! We bought the car 3 years old with 124K miles on it, engine and tranny are original. To be honest with you, most of everything is original

The TL's being replaced this week with a 02 RL though....still going to keep it but I'm not sure how much she'll get driven. Need to fix a few things..

<< Jealous.

I was hoping my car would die so I could replace it with an 01-04 RL. But for now I've decided to spend my money elsewhere :\ Good luck with it though, great choice over the 1999-03 TL/TL-S... not as much "go" factor, but no tranny problems either :P

I actually never thought I'd be in an RL but it just happened to be the right one. I never considered any newer TL's, 2nd gen has trans problems, 3rd gen is on every corner around here and I really like how exclusive our TL's are (and the RL around here as well). I like to be a little bit different.

I don't need to "go", I want a smooth comfortable ride to work at 6:30 in the morning....getting old

The RL is also built in Japan, as our TL's were....let's see if it's as reliable as my 1st gen TL.

Everything on that thing is stock...including exhaust tips.

She spends a lot of time sitting on the side of the garage these days....

Yup 1st gen was a very reliable car for me, very smooth ride and classy look to them even if its a 13yr old car
