Thanks, i happen to think my interior is good for its age ..but thats juss me and for the colors mine is "Ext. Color: Granite Silver Pearl Int. Color: Saddle" i try to keep her clean as possible, but it sucks when peeps trash the inside like they do to their car." i understand u do it to ur car, but u see the int. of mines is clean and u still throw ur shit on the floor" totaly disrespecting my and AND me. but yeah.. n sorrie for this post if theres misspeeled n stuff i need sleep. laterz

those are type s?? i didn't know their magnets were so huge! I found a great deal on some type x and im sure the magnets on those suckers are more huge.

That wouldn't really be cutting into the car, I meant more along the lines of in the extra pocket under the HU. At least velcro it down in the glove box

o well i say cut cuz it dont exactly fit into said pocket, the eq is a lil bigger. And never thought to velcro it in the glovebox cuz it dont move around with all that crap ive have on top of it.

Yes the types are big, i need a better amp to run it tho, rated 300RMS to each yet my amp only give about 100watt to each at best. i jus need components speakers up fronts and some ok 6x9s and im all set, as is everything sounds good for my 'punk'rock / hip'hop / R&B style 19 year old ears. But it can only get better with an upgrade.

And im also plaing to build a carputer like you have USP.. i bought an 'ok' laptop with a broken screen [laptop itself work] and all i need is a power supply/converter and screen[touch]. Unless juss from that you [unsanepyro] think i would needsomething else? any help would be appreciated.

You actually need to mount those subs THE OTHER WAY AROUND!! install lit so that the logo faces outward and the magnet is inside the box. you get better bass that way.. the pros didnt install it for you, did they??

naw im the idiot that did that myself. i was looking to do a bandpass box, but never got to make the ported enclosure on the 'non logo side' of these sounds producing devices.

FIY they are now placed facing and firing the right way.

same box. just the subs are facing right. LOGO out hah. but if ya want then ill take some later.. hits hard.. actualy hits harder when magnets out [thats y a bandpass setup would have killed] but its good for me. like i said in earlier post its under power so it would kill if i had the right amp. and yes trunk rattle, and unlike other people[im guessing] i dont like the .."oo i hear loud sounding bass.. its from that car!" type of attentions.. so i wish to get rid of the ratles.. but iono how yet.. no money for dynomates.. done the ole' sponce behind the licens plate.. but she still ratles.. so what i saying is i like it loud but not so everyone else outside my car can hear it. impossble feat i must say.. but yeah.. dam i sure type alot..

if you want it so only you can hear it then get a sealed box. you can adjust the bass with your amp. what amp are you using to push your 2 10s?

it is in a seal box right now, i dont think changing the box will cause the trunk not to rattle...i can turn da bass down but then i wouldnt get the bass i want..hah

yeah i know the car will rattle no matter what box but a seald box helps for our car...a bit. I went through a ported and sealed box and the sealed is less boomy for me (just my opinion). I know b/c I have 2 JL 12W6v2

yeah i know ya juss tying to help, and its very much appreciated. im juss saying also.. ha thanks. n its a alpine v12 mtr-500 [sp?] again in not sure cuz the marking is fading a lil. but yeah im guess at best its 250x2.. , so how is yours setup. mines is pushed all the way to the front[of the trunk] with the face firing to the rear of the trunk. and i found most of my rattles id the trunklid itself.. so maybe if i juss dynomate that, but i would hate to add on that much more weights and spending that money.. huy huy

I posted the subs on the link of my car but here is the pic of just the sub. it hits very hard. i used dynamat extreme and that shit still rattles like a bitch.

i actualy did see yours.. n it looks really nice. but like i said in earlier post it dont just fit in under the headunit. i have to cuz some of the trims..

and as for the shiftgate to chrome, just get some really good paint remover, because it is juss painted over with black or you can get a RL shift gate [not sure of which gen rl] but it should fit, but best bet is to juss get some strong paint remover...
