I had folding mirrors in my 89' Trueno when I was in Japan... it was nice to have... especially in Japan... LOL

I always wanted folding mirrors for my TL but never got to it...

Nice to know someone here has them... Looking good!!!

thanks to all for the comments.

tlpinay - i didnt do the installation. i had my friend, samson, at revision audio do it and i just sat back and relaxed. im a retard when it comes to complicated wiring.

Go90go & KrayzieDxC - i still havent fixed the bugs thats troubling me. its hot and cold, sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt. i think i found the source thou. its the relay that came with the set. so if you guys wanna sell me that part, id take em off your hands.

tmnhs81 - yep, ebay is where i got them. a seller had a buy it now price of $150 or best offer.. i offered $100 and it was a done deal.

KrayzieDxC - i swapped the internals from the JDM ones to the USDM ones. the angle of the mirror housing was the opposite since we drive on opposite sides. and that also saved me money on getting them painted. the JDM ones was in silver.

Too sexy! I only have my mirrors connected to the button where some american models have the defrost button for their mirrors. Mine is buggy too, considering it takes a couple of pushes on the button to work. I am so jocking your idea, finst to make it mine. mwahahaha, if only I knew how.

Do you think that Honda Accord mirrors would fit? I tried looking for Honda Inspire mirrors but that search was unsuccessful.

I used that in a search, I saw that it said Accord, and that is why I asked. So you think that these should fit? http://shop.ebay.com/?_from=R40&_trk...All-Categories

i saw a set for you 1g guys that was on ebay.. it was recently sold for $100 or so (as in the past week)

just keep searching for inspire mirrors and you'll come across it. have to wait though, since it's a rare product.

You will need a relay to power the folding mirrors. If you hooked up the relay to the factory mirrors then nothing would happen.

they should come with a black relay box and the switch. the switch may not fit on your panel so you might have to use your factory switch.

Can someone here illuminate me with the rationale for having automatic folding mirrors? Are the roads you drive on so narrow that your car requires this feature?

I have owned various makes of automobiles for the past 31 years and not once have I thought that such a feature was needed.

Call me an old fart but I just don't get it.
