Thanks, cutting with dremel is not so easy...take it to the pros...but if you take your time and be slow, you'll be ok.

Hopefully you get the DIY for Fogs stuck too, it is just that there's one already.

Thank you.

Domo aregato.

Shie-shie.

Salamat.

Gracias.

For those who pushed me to do this DIY...it's your turn to battle the dremel cutter...other than this, everything's no sweat!

I like my markers....

Finally a WORD of advise, get a marker which has more than enough LIP-LID so that your hole has a lot of clearance:

My marker hole was only 1 mm, 0.04 in smaller than the bezel...so I had a tough hell of a time to make sure I did not cut the hole too big....

Find a marker which has at least 1/8 in, 3 mm bezel lip to the hole you will cut....

Intiendes? Got it? Do not make the same mistake as I did. I like mine, but would have selected another type.

Thanks.

Things to remember:

1. Get a side marker with plenty of clearance between the bezel (that covers the hole)and the hole. It would be forgiving if your hole is a bit bigger.
2. Get a side marker that's a little bit smaller than what I bought. There's plenty of smaller ones which will look good too. Generally, markers that I have seen around (BMW, Audi, VW, Subaru...) are about 2/3 size of what I purchased.

^Bro I am working 7 days a week, 8+ hours a day from last one month and I don't know for how long I have to keep up with this crappy schedule

Its so f****** tiring job to just drive around all day long.

I love turning on my fogs, on demand! They always wonder what year the car is...it has all the features of a newer generation car...such as DRL...side marker...clear signals (Inspires)...shark fin antenna....

I already got (s2000) wheels, Inspire tails are still sitting in my trunk. All I need is a front window tint and maybe a slight drop to break everyones neck.

Marker

Guys, I suggest you consider this marker, this is a lot better than what I put on. They have a wider lid to cover the hole. Much easier to work with. I just bought them for my CRV which I will install markers on this weekend. $10 shipped. My other one was $13 shipped. A little plain but works just the same and not a PIA hole work.

I am disappointed that nobody's taken on this DIY. It is not that hard! Just make sure you have a good dremel tool!

That is how I installed my passenger security light. I just marked it off, drilled, and hoped that when I was done it would fit.

Mandy, mind posting a picture of the hole without the marker as well as the dremel head you used? I'm definitely considering doing this.

Here's a shot, after I painted the bare metal (this shows my CRV, but should be the same):
