I was amazed on how long it takes to change a simple light bulb on my car, the passenger side was ok, probably 10 mins on each bulb, it takes 10mins to get the old one out, 5 seconds to put the new one in. Theres not a lot of room to work with, but on the good note, my bulbs look great. Gets rid of that ****tty yellow halogen look. I got 5000k bulbs off of ebay for $15 shipped. I got ones with stock wattage too. They look great, slight tint of blue, and when these things are on highs, it lights up everything down the road. :D :D

Yeah they are a pain. Would you be able to post pics of those bulbs with your headlights on? I hate the low visibility on mine and im interested in seeing how yours look.

Hell ya, I hate changing my headlight bulbs. The left side is a *****.

Its definitely annoying but theres other cars that are even worse. You should see behind a 2001 VW Jetta's headlights. Even a Lincoln Navigator or a Chrysler 300M. I think the 300M is the worst out of those 3 cars.

I will try, all I can say is, at night, the light really reflects off the snow, it lights up everything, VERY different from my stock bulbs.

When you change them a few more times, you'll be able to do both of them in under 5 minutes. I got sick of changing mine out every 3 to 6 months so I finally got HID's. Believe me, they are totally worth it.

Yeah I agree, once done a few times, it's no prob.

Oh, after the first bulb, the second one (driver side one) was easy as hell, thats why i did the easier one first. All I did was remove the fluid container, and unbolt the other to move it out of the way, and it was simple. Oh and these bulbs are the stock wattage, so they wont burn out in a couple month and fry the wiring.

I bought some bulbs from best buy, they are made by OPT-X which is street glow, they are amazing, they're bright as hell with my aftermarket fog lights(of course took the yellow cover off) When they are off, looking at the headlight, the bulb reflects off all the chrome and it looks awesome.

I finally left those expensive piaas alone and bought some at a wholesale place and found that they look better and last longer. I agree, its not so bad changing them out after a couple of times.

yeah i got some from a local import shop here in town a brand from japan they had a year warranty and lasted 9 months and also were better than my old PIAA's

Why is PIAA bad? i Just got a pair finally the were expensive but the look very nice and provide me nice light better then those blue zone ones or even the ones i had that had higher wattage werent as nice as these....

I agree with titanxboss. PIAA's are very good lights, you just have to make sure that if you have the higher wattage ones, you have a good wiring harness to back them up. Before I got my Hella HID's, I had the PIAA Super Plasma's and they looked 10 times better than any hyperwhite. They also lasted me more than a year. In fact, I still have the PIAA Super Ion's in my fog lights right now...2 years and still going strong.

Dude that looks awesome!! Please send me link of where i can get a hold of those. I need some better lights untill i save enough for a true hid kit. They light sh*t up nicely and i like the blue tint.

Thanks, i found them on ebay, its Bomz 5000k H4 bulbs, I got them for $16 shipped, not bad eh?

With the snow and all, they are perfect, they reflect off of signs and the snow like crazy, perfect color temp for the season.

Also, I notice they dont work as well as I like on tar covered roads, on cement roads/highways they reflect like crazy, thats why I use my yellow fogs when im driving, it help reflect more light on the tar roads. These are stock wattage too, that why they arent as bright on black surfaces.

When you say dont work as well on tar covered roads, they still provide better visibility than the stock bulbs right?

They do provide better visibility than stock bulbs in all ways.
