Does anyone know if the new woodgrain and leather steering wheels that come in the new model Acura 's are compatible to a 97 TL model.I'm trying to take the saying "woodgrain all through your s***" to a whole nother level.Holla back..

I called the dealer once and asked them if the 2nd gen TL wheel or the MDX wheel fit on 1st gen TLs and they said no. I dont trust the guy I spole with though, he was a jerk. lol.

while the MDX/Type S wood wheel wouldn't work
for us because of the audio controls, air bag issue and a difference in a couple connector holes, I believe that the wood wheel from the Honda Odyssey may work.

How much does the stock steering wheel cost? Do I need to buy a brand new air bag unit with it if I decide to replace my old steering wheel? I'd ask at my local acura dealer only if the people there would treat me with a little respect...sigh

I heard from Honda today that the Inspire first generation and the TL wheels are the same and they are looking for some wood wheels for you. What color are you guys looking for???

Thanks everyone for trying to locate me a woodgrain wheel.I still have'nt found one yet.No one seems to know anything at the dealerships.What do they get paid for?The wheels in the new TL's are on sale for 350.What's up with the wood wheel from the Honda.
