Wiper Blade Size
My friend has a '98 TL 3.2 and she needed new wiper blades last night. I checked three different wiper catalogs-- Bosch, Anco and Rain-X, all of which stated that the driver side is a 24" and the passenger side is a 19".
She bought the 24" and 19" blades from Rain-X from Walmart for around $8/each. When she went to install them, the 24" one for the driver worked fine. However, the passenger side 19" is too short. The old blade for the passenger side was a few inches longer.
So, can anyone confirm that 19" is the correct size for the passenger side wiper blade? Or are all the catalogs wrong and the OE size is different?
Thanks.

I know on my gen2- the passenger blade extends to a point where the tip is just off the outer edge of the glass when wipers are off
Many people gripe about it looks-
maybe gen1 was smarter and had the correct length to maintain contact and stop there

Yeah, I checked the Acura catalog and it shows 600MM for the driver's side, and 450MM for the passenger side, which translates 23.6 inches and 18.7 inches, respectively. Therefore, the aftermarket catalogs were correct with their recommendations for 24" and 19" for the driver and passenger side, respectively.
So, either she had the wrong blades in the box (unlikely, since all the 19s on the shelf were the same) or someone installed longer blades last time.
