I picked it up.

Question for you guys... do you think this will rattle once I put it on my trunk? I have 3000 watts in the trunk with two 12" eclipse subs... that shit doesn't rattle now... I'm hoping this won't rattle once I put it on.

yeah i noe wat u mean i got 1 12''kicker L7 an my car rattled like it was going to fall apart but i dyno matted the whole trunk and titened every thing and it doenst rattle juss my licene plate does a lil and thats it.. but with that wing IDK maybe if its a little loose then yeah its goin to rattle.

As for me mugen wing is much better. It's same style (without stop signal and a slot between wing and trunk cover) but has carbon front and clever design. Unfortunately it's more rare than this one and costs lot more, I bid for that unsuccessfully four times.

np chiba tl, i try to browse ebay semi-regularly.
Well there is probably a way to put the slimmest of padding if you were really worried...but then you would have to worry about it molding or fitting flush. mount then see where it goes from there.

Good call man. I am pretty sure if I get it on there tight enough it should be fine. My license plate doesn't rattle, so I am guessing the wing should be the same way.
Yeah I like the design of this one. I haven't seen the mugen wing, but I have seen several spoilers on 1st Gen TLs that I didn't really like. I think they are the OEM USDM ones, on top of the hood, whereas this one like goes back.
Plus at 120 all in you can't go wrong!!
Now I just have to decide whether I want to convert this bad boy to a Honda or leave it Acura... hmmm...
