Question Wheel Swap ??'s

I tried a search, but couldn't come up with an answer. I've got a 98 3.2 Tl with the 16x6.5 factory wheels with 65mm offset. Will the 99 - up 16x6 with 55mm offset work? Where is the offset measured from? (hub flange to inner wheel lip?) I'm also looking at some chromed 16x6.5 w/55mm offset 5 lug Prelude wheels. Just wondering if these will fit. Thanks for any info.

I answered my own question...I'm going to blame my stupidity on the flu

The 99 and up wheels will fit fine. Our factory wheels are 15x6.5 though. As long as the bolt pattern on the prelude rims are the same you should be fine with those also.

I like the look of your TL-S wheels. I'll probably go with 16's, as my wife mainly drives the TL now and she's prone to "curb kissing".

Whoa!! The type S rims look hot. I thought about it but could never picture how they would look. Are they 17"s?
