What's my TL worth?
I've got a 98 3.2TL with 202000 miles on it. I'm looking to move up to a 3rd gen. I like my car, and there's nothing mechanically wrong with it, but I just like sportiness of the 3rd gen. The KBB value for my car is about $8k, but I'm pretty sure no one will give me that for it.
My question is what will be a reasonable amount to ask for my baby? Keep in mind, that it runs like a dream, and the mileage is really just a number and not at all reflective of the car's actual wear and tear (as I am sure all of you can attest to.) These things are built like rocks.
Also, if there was a single thing I could do to increase the value/appeal of my car to a buyer, what would that be? The paint is a little chipped on the front/rear bumpers because of pebbles hitting it. Should I get that repainted?
Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

Try cleaning up the car and waxing it. Dont bother repainting because there is no need to add money to the car you are trying to get rid of.
Good Luck.

I'm definitely NOT going to a dealer. They're out there to make easy money off of us. In fact, when I buy the 3rd gen, I'll be sure to get one that's used from a private seller.

If its someone who understands and appreciates cars that are in good condition regardless of mileage I'd say $5000
