What Type of Oil does everyone use?
Just curious as to what type of oil you guys use.
I use Castrol Syntec 10W-30 and I change my oil every 2,500 miles and use an Acura Filter. I know its over kill to change your oil and people say its a waste of money, but at least I have a better piece of mind.
I have a 1984 300ZX turbo and a turbo requires clean oil and that is what got me into the habit of maintaining the oil the way i do. Trust me nothing beat the sweet sound of a turbo spooling up with fresh oil flowing thru it.
So i just conditioned myself to maintain the oil like I do on my Z. I have a better piece of mind knowing I baby my ride in that sense.

2,500 wow thats early, i know that 3,500-5,000 is the regular limit but i try to keep it 3,000 miles and change, i drive hard so it requires that extra care, but 2,500 should be like if you floor the car every single time you accelerate, but hey at least you'll have a clean engine.
i use mobil 1 sythetic sometimes 0w-30, and sometimes 5w-30.
