what some places do to your car
before i got my license i really liked theese light up "A's" soo i got one for the trunk ... i got it installed no poblem .. when i go my wing i thought i want to take the A off the trunk completely( body shop has to spotweld 2 holes) so i get the price and he said 500(decent price for the work im getting ) and so i figured i would just do that ... well i dont have 500 right now to pay for that so i thought i could just put on the fatory A and i went to replace it and i start to peel the light up one off and there arent 2 holes but 3 and the 3rd it buy the uper left of te emblem about 1/2inch... now i have the emblem half stck on and half off and the tape wouldnt come off and the hole is kinda expossed and now i have no choice but to do it all at once ...im really dumbfounded at why that shop would do this

thats what i thougth to but after looking at it closely i noticed that they used the 2 holes the hold the A on so there was no real point to them drilling another hole

did the wires go into the third hole??? cause the two original holes are to hold the emblem in place yes but the wires cannot be squeezed into there too.. need another hole for them and thats what it was for... i was gonna buy one but declined after thinking about it

I used to have those same emblems on my car and I got the wires through the factory holes. Some shops just suck and dont know what they're doing. Thats why I do all the work myself. They figure you dont have a clue about cars so they do whatever they want as long as its covered up and you cant see it.
