When maintenance minder turns yellow/red??(on gauge cluster) what other thing's need attention other than just oil/filter change??

You can check on Acura.com under maintenance(don't remember exactly how to navigate there), you can find the maintenance schedule for our 1st gens, and they are usually every 12k or so except for engine oil changes. That way you can tell what needs to be done.

Check your owner's manual for recommended maintenance items based on mileage. Normally it is the oil change.
