I recently put new tips on my exhaust pipes this weekend. When I was putting them on I noticed that my muffler was starting to really rust. I just replaced it this summer. I put on the tips anyways and decided to bring it back to the shop next time I was home (I'm away at college). But after driving for about an hour, I noticed a smell coming from my exhaust when I got out the car. Could it be the new tips I put on or what??

these are stainless steel tips right? A friend of mine had these tips on his car, but they had like a coating on the tips...and when the exhaust got really hot it started melting the coating and it smelt like burnt plastic. I dont know, GL with everything

my a/c vents smell like rotten eggs, but that is because I bust azz in my car alot after eating fast food.
