hey, i tried searching for threads like this but i couldn't find any. I was wondering if anyone knew what other kind of cars parts that can fit the 2.5tl ie; the vigor, another TL series. i'm not too familiar with this and i'm just looking for some insight please. any advice will do. thanks

 

Depends on the parts obviously.

Engine and transmission though are compatible only on the Vigor in the US.

Japan had a few 5 cylinder cars but again, same engine and transmissions.

 

a blower motor perhaps? also more or less i'm trying to find body mods and am having a hard time.

Well there really aren't any.

 

Ya well they dont make much for the Vigor or the TL. Very limited.

 

How smooth is the manual tranny swap from a vigor to a 2.5 TL im thinkin bout doin it...what do you guys think?

 

lol... luckly... 1st Generation TL Forum doesn't really get a lot of traffic... or else you would of already gotten for saying a blower motor... i was actually, Dreaming of course, of putting in a blower into a geo metro... Wonder how that would turn out...

Anyways... That kind of engine in a TL would probably make it loose its Luxuriouse stance on the road... given that you'd have to customize the hood... and then some of the interior and the ... firewall (spelling and part correction)??? also, a different tranny etc... man... if you do this to the TL you're going to have a hell of a time... lots of work... About aftermarket parts for the TL... nope... there are none... no wide body kit (TLxRaCeR comes to mind...lol...) very few aftermarket parts... such as gauges and such...

Have fun trying to find parts for our 2.5's...lol... I know the 3.2 are very lucky... mostly everything fits their engine...

 

blower motor blows air into the vents. It cost about 1100 to change it in my 3.2 since I needed a defroster at night i had to give in and buy a new one.

 

ok... i'm confused... Can someone explain to me what this Blower Motor is and does...??? I was thinking more in the lines of this...

 

yeaa......i was referring to the thing that blows heat into your vehicle when i said "blower motor".

 

Blower motor can be one of two things.

An actual motor that blows air.

Or... a its a slang term for a supercharged car.

 

In that case, a Vigor component WOULD be compatible with the 2.5 TL.

will a vigor or legend bodykit fit the 2.5? also anyone gonna watch sunday's pimp my ride? they're supposed to be "pimpin" a legend. that'll be interesting.

 

Neither will fit.

The 2.5 TL is unique, so is the 3.2
