Useful Online Parts Places?

Hello All,

I'm about to come up on my 90K mile mark and will be getting the maintenance (timing belt, accessory belt, water pump) as well as the starter problem I'm having fixed. However, I want to purchase all my parts ahead of time and just have the shop charge me for labor. My question is which online places have the cheapest prices for OEM stuff for a '97 3.2 TL? The only places I know to turn to are http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.net and http://www.nopionline.com

Any others that you guys use?

TIA,
Slagboy

Oh jeeze...we have timing belts??? I just got a 97 and I thought they were chains...hahaha (laugh with me, not at me!) I have 92k on mine.
BTW, i have the 3.2...does that still have a belt? I just looked at NOPI and they just had the 2.5 belt.

Scottman,

Yeah, we have the belts. If you check http://www.acuraautomotiveparts.net , click the parts store on the upper left. Then choose the appropriate fields. The last one, choose camshaft - timing belt and you'll notice that we've got belts. I've been told that if you hit 90K miles, you should definitely get that changed.

Hehehe.... yeah. Might as well while you're in there. Good preventative maintenance. I'm changing out my thermostat as well.

Cheers!

For most replacement parts, I go to http://www.ahmotor.com. I recently did the 60K service on my car. I bought all the parts from there and broght them into my dealer. It saved me a good $300 in labor alone!

OEM, New and Reman parts cheap. Quality is excellent. I have purchased loaded brake calipers, rotors, and a starter, all with excellent service and quality.

You may also need the top gasket to the water pump if it is not carefully removed. This gasket is oval in shape and can slip off easily when the pump is removed.

I'm afraid my TL isn't exactly modded. I only have clear turn signals and slotted/dimpled rotors from irotors installed. I tossed in a K&N filter too if that counts for anything. I used up most of my funds to mod out my other car which I've sold. I just recently got into motorcycles and any new funds have gone into gear for it.

Peace,
Slagboy
