Underbody Coating

Hi I tried searching the forums for this, unsucessfully. I was wondering if any one else has undercoated their cars, as mine has chipped off and is now exposing bare metal, and Winnipeg is so damn salty in the winter and spring, I want to take any precaution I can to prevent rust. I have read that the Rubberized Undercoating in a aerosol just chips after a few weeks, so I wanted to stay away from that. I have read about POR-15, but it seems expensive and hard to work with... Any ideas/suggestions would be appriciated! Thanks.

Just like painting -90 percent of the job is in the prep
You need to clean the area with a wire brush and remove any contaminents
Then most any spray on stuff from the parts store is fine
A few light coats to really get in the crevices is the trick

Ok great... I saw this little sandblaster at a hardware store, runs off the suction from your shop vac, im thinking of giving it a try to make sure the area is real clear. Not sure how well it will work tho... EZ Blaster << its there if you want to check it out... its powered by a vacuum so im not expecting much... who knows... Thanks for the reply bud.
