Tl = Troublesome Loaded
Hey guys. Well the 1st Generation TL to me is "TROUBLESOME LOADED". After putting a lot of money and work (all parts from the dealer; 100% positive) i decided to sell it today. I just bought me a Lexus IS 300 . I will post some pictures asap. Good luck with all the 1st Gen. to you guys.

I had to replace my thermostat but that was it.
For some reason my windows are having a hard time going up and down on my drivers side. I dont mean that they are slow, some times they just wont roll up or down.
well have fun with the Lex.
I have 111k miles and my car still runs like new.

I've had 3 TL's...and 0 problems with any of them other than one I caused myself.....and the dealer fixed under the warranty. IMHO, Acura and Honda makes some of the most reliable cars on the road. So does Lexus and Toyota...so I wish you better luck with your new car.

I have 196,000 miles on my girl and she has not given me a whole lot of problems. She runs like a champ. I replaced the electrical side to my ignition switch that went out last week. She even gave me two weeks of warning before it died. (harder to start) I plan on doing some engine /transmission fixes to her and keeping her for another 100k+miles. I only have a 10 mile commute to work so that will thankfully take a long time. I am saving my next car purchase for the 300+ HP Acura TL with SH-AWD. My car is still beautiful, she still gets stares and she runs like melted butter. Congratulations on the IS purchase though. We looked at that car a few years ago because my wife wanted a bigger car, but after test driving it, it wasn't any bigger or faster than my wife's Accord EX coupe, and they were asking some ridiculous price for it with tons of miles on it, so we just kept the Honda. (which also has given us no problems.)
