Timing Belt/Water Pump Service
#3
I really couldn't tell you for a few reasons:
1) I had other work done at the same time
2) I had a little 1.7EL as a loaner car while they did the work, and when I got the TL back, I was like... "Whoa!".
It _seems_ better, but as I said - probably not the timing belt... The thing about a timing belt change is - it feels better knowing it's not going to snap and destroy my engine!

I wouldnt try this at home unless you are ASE certified. There is a reason they say replace the water pump at the same time as the timing belt. Cause it is a pain in ass to get too. After all that $450-$700 is almost all labor, not for the water pump and belt

I've got a 96 3.2premium with 58K on it. The dealer and my acura specialist mechanic say to do the timing belt at 60K or 6 years. DO I need to do it right away? My 92 intergra was done at mid 80K, as suggested. DOes the TL need to be done that much sooner?
