Thinking of getting a new car

Hey guys,

I posted this on the 2nd gen, but I also want to ask for suggestions from you guys.

I am thinking of getting rid of the 1st Gen. Not that there is anything wrong with it. It is going strong at 130k miles. However, I have a relative who is in serious need of a car so I think I will give it to her (I also have a Tacoma I will be driving in the interim).

I am thinking about a 2003 TL or TL-S, depending on what the guys in the 2nd gen will tell me. I was briefly considering an S2000 but I have a motorcycle and they almost seem the same. I don't know about the 3.2 CL because the styling is kind of a hit and miss with me. I like the rear end, but I hate the front. I'm also thinking of a TSX.

If you guys have any suggestions, I'd love to hear them.

I vote TSX or TLS. I like the styling and the power of the TLS better than the TSX.

If you can get a really good deal on an 03 TLS I say go for it. Put that oem body kit on it and you are set.

They get good gas milage, and are powerful too. I think it has a more professional and adult look to it too and just has much more of a presence than the TSX. Also like the first Gens, the TLS has a timeless design. It will never look old. The TSX is a little bland.

TSX guys are going to have a cow when they hear this, hehe. Let's don our flame suits!!

~Cheers~

P.S. I like the UA5~ (~ means after change). Much better than TSX, since it's bigger and has more of a presence with the OEM kit and a 1" drop.

I'll refer you to .com if you want to see some nice 2G TLs that's your place. Even though most of those guys are getting new cars you can check out Lou or Ray's TLs they are probably the two nicest 2G on the damn east coast.

I like big body cars but it seems like you want to stick with the acura family. If this is the case, I would personally go with the RL. I love RLs

I think the TSX stands out more than the TL because there's just so many TLs. I see 2nd and 3rd gens everywhere I go.

Over here in SF, I think there's an equal number, if not more TSXs around since they're newer.

~Cheers~

I think the TSX has a REALLY nice look when fully modded, the Mugen Accord is really a sexy car.

Hey Kevin (btw).

Which RL? The first or second gen?

My mom has a first. A second is more than I want to spend right now.

I like MC~ 1st gens. ~MC 1st gens look good after a full Legend conversion, but before that, they look kinda blah.

~Cheers~
